2021 Meeting Programs

August 5th Program Details
Featured Speaker: All Members
"Annual Show and Tell Meeting"

The GCGS August 5, 2021 meeting will afford all society members and guests an opportunity to "show and tell" some of their genealogical experiences. This will be an excellent opportunity to brag a little about your successes and possibly get some assistance from other members if you have been less than successful in your endeavors. You do not have to make any presentation to attend; just come and listen to the "show and tell."

Explaining how you solved a particular problem in your research might help save someone else countless hours and much frustration. And showing something in your ancestor's past is always entertaining. This meeting is always an interesting and informative program.

Please join members of the Granville County Genealogical Society in attending this meeting, to be held at 6:30 P.M. on August 5, 2021 in the conference room at the Richard H. Thornton Library in Oxford, N.C. All GCGS meetings are open to the public, and visitors and guests are always cordially invited to attend.

IMPORTANT - Spring Street in front of the library is blocked off at Main Street due to construction of a round-a-bout. There are barricades at the intersection of Spring Street and MLK Jr Blvd. (Linden Ave.)
You will need to drive around the barricades toward the Library in order to park at the Library. It is expected & okay to access the Library this way.
